COOKBOOK $20.00 (Recommended price $25.00) The cookbook from the MG Club of Texas is an outstanding addition to your cookbook collection. Since I got this a while back at a car club auction, it has become my favorite general cookbook. I find myself pulling this out instead of BH&G or Betty Crocker. It has great recipes for salads, appetizers, and entrees. Desserts too, although I am not much of a baker, but they sure sound great. Lots of Tex-Mex items (of course) along with other interesting ethnic foods. I find myself going to this book again and again for ideas. The Tuscan Walnut Chicken is a great company entree. The Siam Salad is my standby for potlucks. And there are lots of great, simple appetizers. I'm sure you would get a lot of use from this book. Whenever I meet someone from the club, I have to tell them how much I like this cookbook. Ref:texcook
