Trunk Props for MGB and MG Midget

Replace your old trunk lid prop with this new self-triggering version. You will LOVE needing only one hand to operate your trunk lid instead of three. Ever take anything out of an MG Trunk? With the factory prop, you have to set your parcel on the ground while you use both hands to shut the trunk lid. never again face this annoyance. Just lift slightly and the prop automatically collapses. This prop also reduces the possibility of your trunk lid being ruined by someone trying to force it shut against the rigid factory prop. Looks like the original equipment and installs easily to existing mounting brackets. Fits approx. 1971 to 1980 MGB and 1971 to 1979 MG Midget.

Hood Prop for MGB's

If you ever work under the bonnet, this prop is for you. Not only do you get one-handed convenience, this prop also expands several inches farther than the factory prop, giving you much greater freedom when working under the hood. You will not believe how far your hood will now open and it will never be in the way again. It also reduces obstruction of lighting! You will be astounded at how pleasurable this prop makes working in the engine bay and how easily you can put the bonnet up and down with one hand. Fits all MGB's fitted with factory equipped telescoping rods, approx. 1970-1980. Please note that if you would like to use the Hood Prop on earlier MGB's you can order the two brackets below and by mounting them will be able to use the Prop.

Gas Charged Prop for MGB Boot

This slick lift cylinder is a wonderful convenience, plus a foolproof guard against getting your boot lid bent as so often happens with the factory prop rods. Open your boot lid with ease, then close it with just an elbow. This prop lets you "slam" your lid shut instead of the factory's method of two hands and a bent back. Also, be absolutely certain no one will EVER ruin your boot lid trying to shut it over the factory's rigid locking prop. This is inexpensive insurance!!

Installs in minutes with just a 7/16" wrench. This design uses the same mounting brackets as your current prop and will fit all MGB boot lids with telescoping props approx. 1971-1980.
